ALABAMA!!

I have some black orpington, lavender orpington and coronation sussex chicks for sale. They are day olds to 1 week old, $10.00 a piece. I culled many birds last year. My lavenders are solid lavender with no buff ticking. The blacks are a hink jc line. The black cockeral on the left is the only one in the breeding pen now.

I am in need of one silkie chick near Cullman. It looks like only one of my eggs is going to hatch and she will need a buddy. PLEASE if anyone has any or knows of anyone that does let me know. Thanks.

Hi, I am new to the forum and I live in Mobile, AL. There don't seem to be many poultry owners around here and breed selection is small.
When I built my coop I built a fortress: metal skirtting so critters can dig, thick wire screens so squirrels and other rodents cant climb through the eves, strong door latches and locks, and carpet locked between nailed boards around the base of the run so dogs can't dig.

I currently own Buff Orphingtons but have owned a few Barred Rocks as well. When I move out from under my parent's wing I would like to raise a variety of poultry. I am learning every day and I love my babies.
