Two dragons, one pink and one scarlet, were circling high above the island. The pale pink dragon lowered her head, stretching her neck as far as it could go. "Look, Brightfire, there's Saphira and Arya. And they've brought guests. I wonder who they are?"
Brightfire stretched her neck down too, examining the group below. "I don't know who they are. I have never seen them before. Shall we go down and meet them, Amelia?"
"That sounds like an exellent idea, Bjartistari! Let's go!"

saphira smiled and roared at the two dragons in greeting, she hadn't seen them since she was a hatchling!

Amelia and Brightfire roared back, Brightfire painting the sky with a torrent of scarlet fire.

(I think I said she was just a few years.... its on the first page she came from a large egg so large dragon early on)
saphira responded with her own blast of fire, this time instead of blue it was green.
arya shielded her eyes from the bright fire, glad that saphira was happy.
angela and solembum also shielded their eyes.
eragon heard something outside and looked out his window seeing saphira and arya aproaching "they're here!" he exclaimed and went to hug his saphira. saphira hummed deep in her throat "i told you they would come" she said smiling. "you were right" eragon said and went to the south gate to greet them, saphira following close behind, her feet thundering in the great hall that was eragon's home.

Amelia and Brightfire dove down, pulling up in front of Saphira. "My, look how much you have grown, Saphira. We remember when you were just a hatchling, trying to follow Arya everywhere," Brightfire said. (They help in the nursery.) Amelia cocked her head, looking at the rest of the group. "Welcome to Eragon and Saphira's Island. I am Amelia, and this is my sister, Brightfire. Eragon is expecting you - actually, he has been waiting for you since early this morning. He sent us out to see if you were close to the island about ten minutes ago. But before we bring you to him, please tell us your names."

"I am Renkah and this is Phoenix," Renkah said, patting Phoenix's scales.
"I am Demeter," Demeter said, inclining her head to the two dragonesses.
"And I am Angravel," Angravel said, examining Amelia and Bjartistalri.
