"The girl I was with," Fenwing said, blushing slightly. "We were supposed to be mates, but then the slavers happened. When I was in Feinster I tried scrying her multiple times, but she has wards preventing anyone from scrying her. I have heard that she travels Alagaesia, hunting slavers, and that when she finds them she either kills them or makes them swear in the ancient language that they will never kidnap or mistreat anyone and that they will never sell people as servants or slaves again. They say that she is called Griffin, but her real name is Demeter. When I heard her description I knew it couldn't be anyone else. Also, when I heard that sometimes there are lightning storms when she's around, I had no doubts after that. I was hoping that you could help me find her."

eragon tried hard not to smile "well I'm sorry but I don't remember hearing of anyone by that name, but since there have been so many riders coming back recently I think I will throw a ball! It sounds like a good idea to me because so many riders and their dragons have come back or come here for the first time. Would you mind helping to spread the word? It will be a masked ball" eragon said

(*splutters* Eragon was not supposed to tell him that, he was supposed to give a masked ball which was where I had planned on having them meet!)

eragon heard a knocking "enter" he said in the ancient language, the door opened revealing selena "good! you have woken up" eragon said pleased "tell everyone" eragon said to fenwing "and tell them to tell everyone they come across as well" he said
