Alexa and Windstorm continued to practice blocking their minds against each other, Alexa failing not once to block her mind completely from windstorm.

Windstorm wasn't as good as blocking her mind as Alexa, but they kept trying. at one point, Windstorm held fast for such a long tome, Alexa withdrew, but as soon as Windstorm felt her withdraw and relaxed, she attacked again full force, and Windstorm didn't have enough time to keep control of the situation. finally, Windstorm managed to keep Alexa out.

when Windstorm finally felt comfortable that she could protect her mind from enemy, they stopped training. Alexa had replenished her energy completely, so in preperation for the long journey ahead of her, she transmitted some of her energy into the emerald in her necklace.

Alexa rubbed her shoulders where it was still sore from her flight from Du Weldenvarden to Teirm.
