Alexa smiled at Arya. "do you want to go sit in one of the trees to eat our apples?" she offered.

Gwendolynne had reached the others, and Maria handed her a plate with a large slab of meat, handing out plates of pork to Solembum, Angela, Saphira, and Windstorm. she also took one for herself, and she and Gwendolynne sat on a boulder by the sea to enjoy their meal(ummm... i think it's dinner by now :p)
 
they should reach the island in the next day unless they meet any.... unexpected delays *evil grin* and arya will proceed when she is ready)
"sure" arya replied taking a bite out of one of the apples.
"thank you" saphira said before tearing into the piece of meat on her plate
angela accepted the food gratefully but instead of starting to eat she reached inside her bag and pulled out a wooden plate, a fork and a knife, "i always carry a plate and utensils just in case" she said with a wink
solembum nodded his thanks then tore into the meat

(on eragon's island)
"they really need to hurry" eragon said pacing next to his window
"calm yourself little one" saphira said gently "they should be here some time tomorrow" she said calmingly

"i should probobly contact eragon and tell him of our progress" arya said with a worried look on her face

Maria divided the pork into meal-size portions, knowing full well that, while even a whole boar would probably not satisfy a dragon, they would probably want a taste anyway. she saved some for Pheonix, Renkah, Gwendolynne, Solembum, and Angela, supposing they would want some, too. she knew that elves were vegan, so she didn't save any for Arya or Alexa. Windstorm provided plates for those who needed them.
