On the beach, Renkah was about to shout Demeter's name again when she saw Demeter and Angravel heading toward her from different ends of the beach. As soon as Angravel got next to Demeter, she tossed the saddle onto her back and quickly strapped it in place. Renkah was already on Phoenix's back. After Demeter was in place, Angravel and Phoenix took off and flew up next to Windstorm. Then Angravel dove back down and landed in front of Gwennie.
Demeter asked, "Would you like to ride with us?"

Alexa looked taken aback. "you expect me to eavesdrop on your private conversation? would you be more pleased if i knew your every thought or gave you some privacy?" she thought back to saphira.

(sorry, both gwennie and maria are in cat form on windstorm's back. :p sorry if i wasn't clear on that...)

Phoenix flew up alongside Windstorm. "Windstorm, if I were you, I'd get away from him a little. If he decides to attack us you are the dragon closest to him."

"oh, alright... but if anyone else was asking this of me, i would have a thing or two to say to them...i can fight just fine..." windstorm thought huffily. she flew up a bit, gaining altitude and flying above greer, so that if he attacked, she would have the advantage of being above him.
