"i was only asking because i was told that eragon was holding a masked ball soon and you would need to know how to dance" arya said, she smiled and struck a dance pose "lets see how good you are" she said challengingly smiling wide. "keep your wing beats more even and measured" aSaphira said "and lift your head higher, you are proud, you are strong! you are a dragon!" she said lifting her own head high.
 
Selena grinned back and promptly began dancing with an invisible partner. She danced perfectly, her skirt flowing out as she twirled.

"I can't make my wingbeats more even and measured- my wings are not the same shape as yours!" Miriel said, lifting her head as high as she could.
 
arya smiled and began dancing around, her feet creating small puffs of dust as they touched the ground, she danced light and graceful, arya twirled around and did a portebra, her back curved gracefully when she leaned back and her hair swept around with her movements. she began doing a series of jumps, some grande jete's, some turning jete's and some other jumps, whenever she leaped into the air she seemed to fly through the air, her arms curved perfectly for the move she was doing and her toes always pointed. -- aSaphira looked at miriel "try anyway" she said
 
Miriel slowed her wingbeats enough so that they were even and promptly flipped over and fell to the ground, landing in a heap. She climbed to her feet, licking dust and dirt from her scales. "Have you ever watched a butterfly fly?" she asked. "Their wingbeats are never even. They would have practically no control and fall from the sky."
 
"good, now beat slower, to help compensate for your wing shape, lift your wings higher before bringing them down, and when you bring them down bring them as low as you can before lifting them again" aSaphira said, in a way she was trying to make this difficult but she knew it would help miriel in the long term. -- arya continued dancing around, whenever she bent backwards it seemed unnatrual the way her back bent (sorry for the dancer talk earlier :p i dance so all these move terms are swimming around in my head :p)
 
Miriel did as she was told, the tips of her wings almost touching every time she brought them up.

Suddenly, Selena began to sing, dancing along to her singing.
