So, the latest on the Duck Drama.....I got a call on Friday morning. They were in Seattle. But somehow they couldn't figure out how to get my box of probably dead ducks here. I got a call this afternoon from the USPS saying that they have lost my express package and I should immediately file insurance for a lost package. I am still hoping that someone swiped them along the way. How can you order ducks and they just disappear? Makes me really anxious to try it again next year. Although, if I do, and I probably will, I will probably order them Express again as the filing process is so much less hassle than with Priority. Has this ever happened to any of you?

BB I haven't heard of the like. They are usually pretty careful with live chicks, all things considered. That said WW hasn't fared too well with some shipments but none have just disappeared. Good grief!

Deb, most of the traffic yesterday was headed towards Anchorage... should be quiet now. Just be patient down here. We tried to shop at Freddies yesterday around noon...

They were completely out of just about everything. The tourist-locusts devoured everything!! It's crowded and crazy. Be especially careful around the Russian River. People are idiots when the fish are running.
