I just asked hubby if he thought we could convert the kitchen area of the old trailer into another coop area....

Sure, I don't see why not................... he says.

Thats what I thought too! But he said if you want em, get em!....Then again, the ones Im getting are pretty
much a meat bird for the most part (except the lawn ornaments I'm ordering)...LOL!

Deb, the Dark Cornish are beautiful birds... I had one a couple of years ago, and really liked her.

Unfortunately what we need to do to convert will take at least 4-5 stragiht days of work, and as neither of us ever has whole day, that pretty much converts into 2-3 weeks of work... so I'll wait for now. But if I'm able to split it in two I can have both Mahogany AND Spangled orloffs.... Have to see what can be arranged in there

My hubby is more of an enabler than ALL you ladies...LMAO!!!

Ok so I have

5 SL Polish
5 SS hamburg- pullets
5 Buff Cornish
5 Dark Cornish
5 White laced red cornish

I have everything as straight run, wonder if I shouldnt make one of those cornish all pullets.

Anyone need Welsummer Cockerels? They were born 6/2 so about 9 weeks old. This is what my packing peanuts ended up being, and they're all boys... 4 of them.

If no one here needs or wants one I think they're going on Craigslist or Alaskaslist... or the dinner table if I can get them to the right weight ...
