I'll make a master list of chicks/bands/owners.

Deb's is the only blue copper Marans, so she'll be easy to pick out.

Ouch, I've done that before. We used to get 10 cords of wood delivered every year, and it all had to be split and stacked.

We have three cords to stack right now... need to get em in the shed before they get wet.

Not sure yet. My neighbor is doing 2 geese and a couple of ducks, someone else is doing 7 birds... I need to look through the pens to see if there are any roos ready to go to camp Kenmore. Might have to do a couple of ducks ourselves.

I don't think I'd want to be doing it in this cold weather! Hope you get some sun to warm up a little bit!!

Hurray for the Chicken Train!
What time did Carmen say she's getting in to Anchorage? 4:00? This is all very exciting. And that'll be it for my family of chickens...no more for me until I have a bigger coop or fewer chickens.

I think Carmen plans to be at Tori's at 1:00, and then its packing up chickens there before she heads out. She said 2 1/2 hrs to her house, so I figure 4- 4:30. They will call me when she leaves Sterling......
This has not started out well for the day. My Brother in Law had a heart attack last night...Totally unexpected...but at least for the present he is not critical....
