We also have poison water hemlock but that one likes really moist places so I'd doubt it. Horses can't eat walnut leaves and nuts, they will cause spontaneous abortion and other problems I believe but we don't have them here.... The amanita (sp) mushroom family (death's cap and death angel) is nasty and they are just starting to show...

re: Ashia's birds... Sulmet. Cocci can cause symptoms like that, and if they can't drink on their own, dip their beaks in water with Sulmet in it often. I've managed to save a couple of birds that I thought were goners.
