I just set lavender orpington and ameraucana eggs. the cochins have been in for 20 days! Just 4 and i think one failed but it's in for a couple of days more.

Sent an email to a couple of breeders, hoping they get back to me. One place has the non-spangled type that is apparently MORE rare in the US than the spangled... am thinking of getting those instead...

Rarest of all breeds I currently own. To my knowledge I have the only existing flock of Mahogany RO's in the USA and they are extremely hard to find in Europe. This is a big-bodied, powerful bird.
