Alaska Chicken Lover's Soup for the Cold!!

Oh this is just awful!

I'm sorry Carmen, but I realize that doesn't do much good... Sometimes the USPS seems to be populated by cretins. I know that's not true but a little consistancy wouldn't be that tough for them you'd think!

Thanks guys!! Still no word. I was there for 3 hours with my kids. Glad we took some school work along and had an audiobook. At this point, I hope someone stole them. If the box does not arrive before 3pm on Wednesday I am going to file a stolen package claim.

I have really become attached to my big baby ducks. They are half feathered and are sweet big schmucks...I call them the schmuck ducks. Never knew how quickly those guys worm their way into your heart. I slept only sbout 4 hours lastnight and am spent. I think i will try for a nap.

I have to get the chores done. I am picking up hubby at the Airport late tonight in the neighbors truck.. and I still need to do some grocery shopping........

I wish it would stop raining, so I could play shuffle chicks between pens! I am tired of wind & rain!

I'm waiting or all this sun to get here that Ch 2 says we are going to get today. Then I also need to get some chicks moved outside, and go grocery shopping.

How about you WW?

Raining here still too.... We had some clear sky last night but that didn't last... Tori's mallard eggs go into lockdown tomorrow. I'll check them then
BB did you ever get any relief? Hoping for the best but it's looking poor....

well I see sunlight, but I also see the Clouds and the wind moving the trees.

I will be moving some of my older chicks into a larger pen today, they have outgrown the small growout pen, and need more room to move!

I may be moving some chicks from the house out to the Chicken house today, but I think they will have to have heat lamps......to assist keeping them warm enough, as it is only 67F outside and they still need 80+F (they are the ones I just finished hatching........ last week)

I was hoping for warmer weather before I had to move them, as I hate the thought of them getting chilled in the move. I had to run the Furnace the last 2 days to keep them warm enough.

Raining here too, still need to go out and do critter chores, got the baby CX moved onto a new (wet but not poopy) spot this morning. They seem to be faring just fine in this crappy weather. The coop chickens are a trip, they want to go outside so when I open the door to the ramp there's a mad stampede... they're out there about 5 seconds, realize ACK IT'S WET and there's a mad stampede back in...

Hubby is cutting up CXs that have rested and we're bagging and freezing and going to have the FIRST meal of them tonight!!

Can't wait!

I'll be happy if the rain stops long enough for me to do doggy poop duty today. I HATE doing it in the rain...
