On another note, my polish top hat is a pullet, since she has laid her first egg... It's perfect, white, however only 1 1/2 inches LONG... She came out of one 4 times that size...
Well I sure hope so! It's cute but 8 to the omelet is a bit of cracking!
If I didn't have so many roosters I'd take you up on it... I like the polish...

I won't be back on Friday, but that's okay. This winter will me much less hectic since I'm going to homeschool, we can have another get together I'm sure.
As long as the place has coffee, I'm happy.
My FIL has an Anatolian(sp) and some Turkish something or other type dog, they are bred to be flock protectors, man they're good dogs. If the kids and I go outside, they're right there with us, and they just met us two days ago. They just know they're supposed to protect us.
Deb, I like the Buff Polish, you are so sweet for thinking of me, but I am good on chickens this year. Really, I am...!
WW, I'm glad you saw that the little bantam couldn't get to the water, that could have been bad.
I'm in agreement with Deb, and will be thrilled with any girls.
Last week I swore they were all boys, though. This week the boys seem to have sustained a growth-spurt, and are more obvious. They're all very sweet birds, and I have their pen all set for them.
Im sorry to say but I'll be putting shooter down today. Hes just laying on his chest with his legs kicked out
behind him pushing himself around since he's still taped. He is constantly crying...I think it's time.
Here's a photo I just took of him. He doesnt look like a two week old chick. You can see on his chest where he's been
pushing himself around. Right after this photo he fell forward and kicked towards me....
