Alaska Chicken Lover's Soup for the Cold!!

Quote:
You are a brave soul. I had ducks one winter, and they did live with my chickens, but it was hard work. If I didn't clean the coop constantly, the floor would never have been dry. I'd fill their waterers up multiple times a day because the ducks would have 5 gallons slung everywhere in a matter of minutes it seemed.

Yep or pretty darn close..I couldn't tell the difference between the BCM's or the BBS that was sent to me...Here they are, the only two I got out
of all those eggs that were shipped. But its a start!

And his son, Awesome....just a young buck but has lots of potential...he was the light grey boy you met that would stick his head
out for everyone to pet him.

It's okay Deb, I'll try eggs in the spring.
I hatched the 3, and then you gave me the two, so out of 5 I ended up with two hens. The other two roos went to family members. The owl got my hens.
This was my worst year ever for losses. I wouldn't have wanted to be one of my chickens there for a while!
