Nope, we'll be going up the Parks to Denali....they are thick right now, but Jim won't be home for another week.

Every winter there are cow hunts in certain units....Theres always a chance to get meat..just have to know where to find the information

Maybe when I'm SEVENTY I'll draw something for a hunt. Seems that's how long you have to live here, no matter WHERE you live and how you want to subsist. Sucks.

Cool! At least you'll have meat this year. We havent had any luck with moose
this year. I hear the Tier II is an absolute mess with all the hunters going nuts up there on the Denali. So if it's not
closed by the time Jim gets home we are hoping all the insane hunters are gone. The quota is getting close....I'll cross my fingers we can get our two!

Bonnie, your day will come! No worries! In the mean time enjoy the general seasons and the permits that are easier to obtain. We are unlimited since we also shoot archery and muzzle loader....

You guys just need to hang out more with hunters like Bear, Jim etc...If nothing
else they make good pack mules
