Pip #1 is a light brahma and has completed hatching today!

Can't see anyone else doing anything......yet (very small plastic window in the Brower)

will keep you posted as I know more.

The little Light Brahma is cheeping encouragement or lonesomeness.......lol

this morning we have 2 chicks, and 2 pips.......

I was showing you why I have trouble seeing much in there, it is a very small window.....and a very large incubator. It covers the whole top of my Heavy duty Dryer!

1 Light Brahma
1 Light Brahma x Rock

1 pip has the top almost off and is also a Light Brahma x Rock.
the next pip is just a tiny air hole....lol so I can't see anything.......

we have 13 more to go into lockdown tomorrow, and I will be leaving all those that have not hatched as yet to finish with them.

1 Pure LF Light Brahma
3 Light Brahma x Barred Rocks

4 Pips- that are now zipping, resting, zipping

6 eggs that I can't see anything happening with........

13 more go into lockdown today......and should hatch on the 28th!

ETA: they have tipped the humidity Gauge so I can't tell what is happening....that is the part that is hard for me, I want to know what it is.....

I have to set up another small brooder for the hatchlings as some have been out since the first day of lockdown.

ok Brooder set up, first 4 chicks moved into it....

we have 3 more chicks and 3 pips......

4 more eggs to go in this batch.......

Humidity was 80% and Temp was 100.8 after removal of the 4 chicks.....so I think we are doing well considering....this is the first time I have used the Brower as a hatcher.....

ETA: Set the Humidity gauge back up so I can read it while I was pulling the dry chicks.....
