No problem Jason, I think I got the tip from Justusinak a while back. It helps alot when brooding ducklings.

BTW My wife has some bearded silkies, Probably wont have any chicks available until next year though.

The milk jug idea is great. I have been doing it for a week now and it has doubled the time between cleanings. I can now go every 2-3 days...much better than every day!!!

Do you have any fertile eggs from the silkies? Or a adult pair?

Anyone got call duck eggs or birds or ducklings up here?

Right now we only have 1 female adult who is laying, She's white and not bearded. So I cant help you with eggs.

We do have a young pair (hatched in March) of bearded silkies but they are also white. If your interested you can PM my wife. Mrs. AK Bird Brain
