Is anyone familiar with Albers feed? It is available from several of the local feed stores. I am using Purina Layena and am curious how this compares. It would be more convenient to buy this if it is as good as Layena.

I tried a search on Albers on this site but did not find any hits.

Here is a link the the Hi-Lay 16% feed that I am curious about. http://www.albersfeed.com/Poultry/ECMD004571.aspx

There must be a few of you here in the Pacific Northwest that are familiar with this feed. I know that it is sold at more feed stores than Purina. And I am very sure that Albers has been in business for many years.

Does anyone have experience with or knowledge of this feed?

Thanks.

Does the lack of response mean that some of you have used the feed and been unhappy? Or does it mean no one on this forum has used it? Or is no one in the Northwest reading this forum?

Someone must be using it, it is carried by too many local feed stores for no one to be using it. I have to buy feed sometime in the next few days and was hoping to get some opinions. I guess I will just stick with Purina Layena. I am happy with Layena and read lots of good about it. I have to drive further to get Layena but it's not a big deal.
