albino quail?

Wrong. Black spots mean it is definitely NOT an albino.

The definition of albino is (roughly) lacking pigment. I do believe BLACK is considered a pigment.

I don't know whether this applies fo birds or not, but pink eyes with mostly white fur/feathers, wouldn't that be considered an imperfect albino? Because it lacks eye pigment and mostly lacks feather pigment?

you answer your own question....albino would not have any black spots. might be the reflection off the retina that your seeing...kinda like whn you shine a light into dogs eyes.

omg i said that already lol

It can't be the retina because I have other chicks that has different colors but do not have any pink eyes.

trust me. they are normal a&ms. i promise you. they are NOT albino. i raise a&ms and KNOW they get that pink tint when held in the light. i thought the same until i check 40 chickys for it and they ALLLLL have it.
