Solved Alert Challenged

I scanned back a couple pages to avoid a duplicate inquiry. So forgive me if this has already been reported.

Am I the only BYCer who is having an issue receiving alerts on followed threads?
Hard to completely explain but I have narrowed it down to a few recent examples.

1. If I welcome new members (which I do a lot), I get all the alerts. For that day, next day and so on.
2. If I reply to any thread, I will receive alerts on that day and not the next. (on/off) without consistency.
   
3. Threads I create.. never the next day. Only on the day of posting.

This is not rant or complaint in the least bit. just curious if I am one of the few who are experiencing this bug. I am a member of BYH & TEG and don't have the slightest problem with those sister sites.
I have started several threads in different categories so I have eliminated the possibility of it being category related.
But I do find myself falling behind on some of my feeds from a lack of seeing "a string tied around my finger" to remind me of my threads I wish to follow.
I have turned off the email feature to save me from becoming buried with emails, so I can't tell you if that aspect is effected.

I never log out. So I don't feel that it is a COOKIE issue.
Only once in a blue moon, I erase data if my browser slows down.. but that is rare.
I am experiencing this anomaly on both Android & Windows-Firefox browsers so I also eliminated the possibility of it just being my browser since Android & Windows are worlds apart.

Any-Hoot, thought I'd throw this little situation on the table and perhaps I am not the only one noticing this little issue.

This is kind of like an experiment as well. Today I should receive alerts on the thread, but will I tomorrow? I will follow up tomorrow with my findings..

I do not have set to get alerts aside from on the web they do not come through my phone
but hoping you get the alert

If you have unread posts, it won't give you an alert. It only pops up the first time a new post comes in and any further unread posts will be silent. Are you sure that isn't what's happening?

I’ve noticed that I don’t get email alerts from likes, but replies i do

I have mine set for any time Im on the web I'll get an Alert. Sometimes it's annoying!I get e-mails also, without being on the web.

I am registered for the news letter but do not have emails as my phone was driving me nuts with them Android phones only get the alerts for anything here.. @BantyChooks is correct did not tell me of the two post but when @007Sean posted it did
