Mostly. Now and then (maybe once a week?) they vanish for a couple hours but come back.

Have your alerts starting "working" again?

LOL - I think so
I get a LOT anyway, so......I only notice if I run across something and I'm like, 'I don't think I got that', so I go back and check so far, I haven't run across anything in the last few days that I've missed.
Looks like tags are working too.

Sorry to pull over here. I felt like the topic on the other thread was being changed to alerts and not what the O.P. intended.
I do get alerts. Sometimes a lot. But certain threads none. Like I said in the previous conversation.. I use the alert bubble to open the link to SEE ALL ALERTS. Then as I click "S-A-A" , I open in a separate tab. That way I can go back and forth to not miss any alerts. I scroll all the way back to the capacity of the log's beginning.
The best way I have found to get around this is to list my bookmarks in order of interest and importance. And as a speed tool, I've added my favorite threads to my signature so I can go to them instantly from anywhere that I've left my footprints.
Having limited alerts is not a burden to me anymore. Kinda a blessing. I spend a lot of time on here. If I received an alert for every little thing I've touched, I'd be annoyed by having so my alerts popping up while I'm trying to type.
So unless this is a burden to other members, this thread can become stamped SOLVED and we can move on. NO problem-o..

Roger that.. that's why I commented capacity of the log's beginning. Generally I start off with each log in there before I spread out and prowl..
