I even just went and double checked that my Pref are set to not give a notification if I post to a thread. I even checked the thread to make sure it was not watched and it wasn't.
Yep, no alerts for that. Only if I 'watch' a thread should I get an alert.


Anyone else ?

ETA ~ I looked at the wrong preferences, but some of my alerts are re-checked.

Are the alerts ones that say someone liked one of your posts in said thread or quoted you?
There are ways to turn off alerts for both likes and quotes.

Threads don't get deleted.
Reading them could potentially help future readers.

I am still not getting alerts, even if I watch the treads.
I will have to go look at my alert things again.
