I have no grass or anything in my yard thanks to the girls. I was told to give them these pellets as a substitute for greens. It it a mixed flock chickens ducks and a goose. Some people say soak them to make mush and some say serve as is. So what do I do with it?

Maybe you could find some baled alfalfa hay?
It usually comes off the bale in small "flakes".
MAybe get it at a feed store ?

My mixed flock love the leaf parts in alfalfa, & they will search and scatter
it until the shake in the flake is gone.

I have no grass around either because we have a very
severe drought going on, & night temps are hovering around 10°.

My girls (ducks, geese, and peafowl too) love to dig through a flake of alfalfa hay. I know several people supplement in the winter months with alfalfa, or timmothy pellets. They make a wet mash out of them, and add it to their feed.

Sprouts and Fodder are also a good choice, then you have fresh greens all winter long you can feed the girls.
