Alien Eggs

I found these 2 "eggs" side by side in 1 of my layer boxes today. No shells, felt leathery and rubbery. When I cut them open they had a slightly rotten smell to them. They were totally solid. The one on the right had "layers/parts" the one on the left did not but looks like



I can see a "yolk". Any thoughts or ideas?

Those are lash eggs -- if you search that term you will find lots of threads about them here on BYC.
