My peeps are growing up! I peeked in after dark last night and all 4 were on the roost.
It was 54F, they're 4.5 and 5.5 weeks old (2 and 2). Three are fully feathered. The one that isn't has her wings and chest mostly covered and that little stripe of feathers down her back.
This batch didn't wait for everyone to be ready the way the last batch did. Instead, the older two went to the roost several days ago and the younger one that feathered so quickly joined them the night before last leaving poky all alone under the MHP. I guess she wasn't having it last night!
As I did last time, I'll leave the MHP one extra night to be sure she doesn't go back under it but I fully expect to see 4 little faces peering at me from their perch tonight.

it warmed my heart the first morning I got to let the babies out of their big girl coop. It really is the little things isn't it?
