Google docs is a great idea! I can't stand Facebook either. Don't trust them or MySpace for that matter.

FYI, going to be out in the fields the rest of the day and meeting with the Natureform rep today for my hatchery requirements..woohoo!

You just have to be really careful what you do on Facebook and Myspace. It's mostly those games that get you. Thats where my spyware and malware came from. Now I just use it for networking to keep in touch with old friends

BTW everyone, a little off topic, but check out my thread with my brooder design! I need the more experienced chick raisers opinions! I hope to begin construction on it tomorrow so I can pick up some more biddies at the swap on sunday. I lost some from the last batch I bought (so unexpectedly too) but the rest are doing great. I think a proper brooder (compared to my 10 gallon fishtank/cardboard box/plastic tupperware combo) will drastically increase my survival rate.

Also, a user on here named abanjaf is going to be sending me a silver sebright (maybe more) via her family's carpool from GA to S.FL. This will be my first long distance chicken ^_^ so if there is anyone along that route that needs anything, now is the time to speak up! (I suggest speaking with abanjaf first).

Still no takers on bringing me those roos? I'd be willing to meet you in TX LOL

OMG this will be my 4th attempt to post!
I swear I'm going out and looking at Frys for a new pc as soon as my money comes through.

If we could even get the first state to move that would be great.

I need a couple of Biff Laced Polish Pullets, so if someone in CA has some maybe I get get a train going here. NC you guys have a lot of people volunteering so maybe one could go on there. If we do even a couple of states right now it would help to get us going and figure out what we're doing. I know it's not that hard, but this is what, the third day?

Does someone want to help by finding some sites with maps that are better than mapquest or yahoo? If we could get some links in here for us all to see that would help.

OK I have 2 truck drivers to talk to today. I needed to make a call to someone from here yesterday and I only got to talk to Terry and I was without a phone and still am, so I'll be meeting with the other 2 later today. I have a truckstop not far from me and we're meeting there.

Something we need to discuss also for the future. Once we get going we want to ask that everyone find a meeting place to exchange. Preferablly in a public place. Not that I think anyone is in danger, but just feel it is a better idea when you are dealing with people that you have only met online.

Another way to be safe is by NOT giving your exact route here on the forums. For safety it would be better to locate your state coordinator and work with them and your train through pms. This site gets a lot of visitors and I would hate that someone entered harms way buy letting the entire internet know where you are.

Google Docs sounds like it might work. Maybe someone could set up a page and show us what they have in mind. If I tried to do it we would be wrapping Christmas presents before I could figure out what I'm doing.

Was going to mention we have our Chicken Stock on the 5th of June. If we could coordinate it and someone from Oregon wanted to attend I could get some little roos a little closer to their destination.

Did I miss more suggestions? Let me know if I did.
