I have aroune 20 Buff Orpingtons, they're sweet tempered birds and lay fairly well.

One of my favorite BO hen's is named J.T. ( yes, it's a hen... ). Once I let them out in the morning she races to the quail house and when she sees me coming tward the Quail House she takes off at a run..she then follows me to the Quail house and she knows if she keeps giving me the sad looks

that I'll give her treats...She has a nasty habit of flogging my boots.

She makes a funny little low pitched sound that none of my other chickens make, she makes it most of the time when she is mad at me.
