All about mallards

Hey guys long time reader of some threads posted after I went looking for answers to some questions !
Finally decided to join in hopes of becoming more knowledgeable and share my experiences .
I work for a wildlife rehaber who cares for mallards….
She’s great but a little outdated and we have bud heads a lot …..
Well first question I have is since all she feeds them is grain and romaine lettuce what is something we can add to their diet that isn’t too costly in order to help them grow better ?

Hiya, and welcome to BYC!

We didn't raise ducks, but we recently "rescued" a pair of young Buff Orpington ducks. We were elated to find out that Kalmbach's Flock Maker, which we feed to all baby chicks and adults, is also complete for ducks. They're sure growing like weeds on it!
