All about peacocks

I want to get a peacock a lot. I just don't know much about them. Could you put all the helpful information you know out here. Like if I got a peacock would I have to get a peafowl can you eat the eggs? Will the peacock try to mate my hens can peafowl eat chicken food? Will peacocks protect my flock will it roost at night should I lengthen the roost? Thanks.
