My brain has fun times

Hmm, I've never had Ayam Cemani's, I know the photos people like to share on fb showing black eggs is false they lay a cream colored egg. There were some local last year, maybe $60/doz on the hatching eggs, I'm not sure the quality though. I'm sure they are like all the other breeds who get popular quickly, it's likely hard to find the true high quality ones through all the noise. But, if you just want super black chickens, then the perfect SOP bird doesn't matter anyway.

I really like having colorful chickens so the ACs don't quite fill my cup, maybe I'd get a couple for kicks once I'm down on solid black chickens. I still have 4 black Astraulorps and 5 solid black EE pullets I hatched this spring, plus my 9 black silkies though. I like having a variety!

Hatching definitely creates that problem!

Why yes, I'm going to drive all the way to Miami to see my sister.... Then oops, somehow I ended up lost around the Tampa area and just happened to find a box of BCM chicks and had to come home with them.
