That looks really good. Is that T1-11? It looks WAY smoother than ours and probably easier to paint! Good job with all the windows.

Aaaand, I am so impressed that you waited to get chickens. I definitely didn't do that!

We plan on having about 6 chickens. Hopeing to get them this Saturday if I can get the run done..
Yes that is T-111 siding.

The coop is 4 by 8. The walls are 5 ft in front and 4 ft in back.
I used some old storm windows, turning them around so I can lift the glass from outside to reveal screen { also going to put hardware cloth inside just in case.}
The windows are on the east and west side so they can get early morning and late evening light.
The coop will be on the south side of my tractor shed to be out of the cold north wind in winter. Also tractor shed will act as one of my sides of the run which will be aprox. 20' by 8'and 7' high
External nesting box, for more room inside. boxes are 15 wide,15 high, 16 deep, 12.5 high in back.
People door will be on the side so as to clean the coop.

Looks like you thought of everything!! Congratulations on a great job...plus being one of the few that actually built the coop first, then got the chickies!
