all farm animals

Does anybody know anything about llamas? We are interested in getting some for our farm this summer or next summer but would like to really research them first to see if they would be a good fit. Thanks for any reply back

We were thinking the llamas might be like a Watch dog and alert us when people come in the yard, good for their wool, and a nice exotic animal to watch in the yard

Peafowl can be the same way but instead of wool they will produce feathers. Peacocks will molt all their train feathers once every year when they produce their first train. Usually at 3 years old but sometimes 2 years old.
