These 4 barred Rock Mixes 5 weeks old. I suspect cockrels. Can I get other opinions?

It looks possible. I wouldn’t say for sure yet. A few of my BR hens had some pretty early comb growth. I do think the one in t be last pic is a cockerel though.
That’s what I’m thinking so far... are these your only chicks? Sorry another that and luck. :hmm
But I’d wait until they’re a bit older (8+ weeks is preferable) but... barred rock cockerels are usually lighter in color... but since they are mixes...:idunno
Male mixes aren’t usually lighter colored though there may be exceptions I don’t know about.

Okay so 2 of these are pretty much jerks and peck your hand as soon as you put your had in the pen 🤣😑

The Hen was full Breed Barred Plymouth Rock

This is the Rooster
He is Buff Orpington x Brahma

I hatched these April 3rd along with multiple others. All the chicks are very cute. I was hoping to sell them off but most don't want Roosters so I'm hoping to have more Hens than Roos as I'm sure everyone does 🤣

Uh oh. I’m not sure about the Brahma genes but I know that buff Orpington x BR hen are supposed to be sex-linked. Which would mean these are cockerels. What type of Brahma was it?
