chick #8 I think this one is a pullet, but like any could prove me wrong in a few weeks. I have an older pullet with what appear to be similar genetics raised by a broody who had a much redder comb and wattles when it was the age of this chick. The most likely father to this chick was an obvious cockeral at hatch.

My incubator is on day 8.

I set eggs after my RIR roo decided to attempt swimming laps. Pretty sure put of 25 eggs I'll get 100% pullets. It's just how my luck goes

Let us know. I'm debating on incubating next year as I've only let broodies do the work. My luck I'll end up with a ton of roosters (or nothing) and I don't want to deal with that.
