Today, I put a pan of dirt into their little brooder. At first, they were confused. Then, it dawned on them what to do. All of them had some time to jiggle around and "break dance" - Oh what joy to watch ...

I still love watching the grown ones take a dust bath. They are hysterical. Our frizzled white Cochin was walking around looking quite dirty. I told her that she looks like she forgot to shake out after her bath. Shortly after she shook out a big dust cloud. Glad I was upwind!
