All my chickens are gone

coyotes out here seem to leave a longer, narrow pawprint than your photo. At least when I've seen them walk thru snow. Did you notice any fur stuck to the top of your fencing, that might help decide what the predator is. Can you borrow or rent a large live trap and see what turns up?

It is a big dog track, not coyote, not feline, not wolf...dog, somewhere around 50 to 70 lbs (I don't know how big you are!) Any of the others would have taken the bodies to eat, this one killed just for fun

Thanks for the support, it really means alot. It was back last night as there were more tracks out there today. Thank goodness the rest of the girls weren't here! From looking at the tracks, I tend to agree with a number of people who say it is canine. In the new tracks I can see the claw prints and felines retract their claws. So that leaves dog, coyote or coydog mix. Lulu is upset with me because I won't let her out alone and since I'm canning, she has to be in more. She is unhappy but I won't chance losing her as well. Thanks again, it is so quiet out there it is almost spooky.

It was probably a dog and I'm so sorry about your babies thats terrible!
