I got pictures of all my chickens! (All the chicks are one week old)
Here they are:
Cora the barred Plymouth Rock (she learned to fly up on the divider between the tiny chicks and the big chicks!)
Farrah Bluebell the Blue bantam Cochin (not sure if s/he is a pullet yet!)
Mable the Red bantam Cochin (again not sure on gender)
Marigold the EE (Don't ya just love her chubby cheeks!?)
Lavender the Welsummer:
Sunshine the Speckled Sussex (she's waving!)
Christabel the Sumatra:
Aphrodite the Golden Laced Polish: (She's such a character! Fall's asleep in your hand all the time!)
Red (I think he is a New hamp X Cochin, he made an amazing recovery! YOu can go to my page to read it
)
All my crazy broody bantams! (I'm trying to break them of the ir broodiness since no eggs will hatch, They I think are BTW Japs X Cochin, names: Rainy, Primrose, Claire and Lacey)
Chloe the red sex link (she came to me debeaked, she gets along fine and is the friendliest hen along with Tinkerbell, don't pity her missing beak!
)
Tinkerbell the red sex link:
And finally Athena the black Australorp:
Marigold and Cora went outside for the first time today!:
Big Chicks:
Little Chicks:
Primrose the best broody:
And my favoritest picture of all, Red:
That's all of them! Christabel and the bantams are seperated because I had two other sumatras and both died quickly and I think it was from the others picking on them (because they were ALOT smaller) so I seperated Christabel into her own side and she was freaking out trying to get back in with the others, so that day I went and bought the two cochins from a very friendly lady who had lots of Cochins (not sure if she was a breeder). The three got along great and I'll bet they'll be best friends even when there old hens!
Thanks for looking! (check my BYC page for more photos too!)
