All my chicks suddenly have large crops?!?

I arrived home from work at 6:00 p.m. to most (if not all) of my 1.5 and 2.5 week-old chicks having large crops. They didn't seem lethargic at all, and were eating normally. I have grit available for them, and I have not seen this before. I'm hoping they just ate a lot and it will subside by morning. Is this normal or do I panic? *sigh*

They usually look huge after they eat and flat again in the mornings.

I have never seen them this big before! I'm sure they'll be fine, but sheesh! I think they all grew tons of feathers since I left for work this morning. And I thought human babies grow fast!

Kids eat excessively when going through a growth spurt. Perhaps chickies do, too?
