Yesterday was my little brothers birthday. So came with me to the farm to go check out his BB golden rooster, and just be hands on with the breeding projects we have going on.

Do y’all think this guy is duckwing? He looks duckwing to me but I want to make sure before I put him in with my duckwing girls.He’s from my duckwing male and regular fawn female. I'm going to try my hand at getting normal fawn duckwings out of my fawn crele and khaki crele that I have.

How will you do that? I'm very curious!

I have a silver duckwing pullet out of all those eggs I hatched and a blue silver duckwing as well. So the crele male to those two hens. Pull a male from that cross back to the females and I have a chance of a normal fawn silver duckwing. If I go with blue I can get platinums.

So the two groups I'm keeping from all this will be the fawn creles and my goldens duckwings and blue red duckwings. I think I'm selling all the rest.
