Just wanted to post my two roosters. For their l parents being hatchery quality and the khaki only being an f1 and the lavender being and f2 (f2 to get the lavender color) I’m pretty proud of the tails on these boys. I know their not the best tails but it’s a GIANT step up from their dads.

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I did an update, and I don't know what I told y'all last.

But I have 9 OEGB chicks, 4 cross colors, 3 whites, and 2 blacks. They're all really healthy, and the crosses have really cool coloring! But, I will say, I'm most excited for the whites. I already see one cockerel. If I'm lucky, I hatched a little trio! Lol

I have a bunch of eggs ready to hatch here by this weekend. 15 crosses, 4 SDW, 4 Blue reds, 4 Blacks, 3 Whites, and 2 BB reds. Honestly, it's really sad to not have so many BB reds as last year...

I also shipped out my first pair of bantams this morning to TX.

Are blue reds blue breasted reds? I can't find anything on it at all, all Google shows is some wyandottes

They are blue brested reds. If you search blue red Old English game bantams they come up.

Yep, that's correct! I've noticed there isn't a whole lot about them. For example: How they look when they sport out, the ratio you get when you breed - blue red x blue red - blue red x BB red - Blue red x blue red sport - and - blue red sport x blue red sport. To name a few examples.

I'm not sure exactly what they're called, but they're heavy duty snips. My dad got them from work cutting some thinner metal, and thick wires.
I'll show you a picture when I get a sec.
