It helps them come around after fights right?Haha, thank you! I was quite nervous to do my first one. It felt so wrong, but it was best for him. (And show standards.)
I will say, I am very pleased with the outcome with all of them.
Yes, along with making them almost completely protected from frostbite. Which, every male I had last year got bit - really bad.It helps them come around after fights right?
You do a fantastic job!
You're doing it well, I reckonThank you, Cloudia!
Ok okYes, along with making them almost completely protected from frostbite. Which, every male I had last year got bit - really bad.
Thank you! You're doing it well, I reckonAre you going to have to do it alot or just on ones you keep for breeding/showing?
Only reason mine stop is because the Large Fowl they are kept with break it up. Now they rarely fight at all.Yes, exactly! I had 2 of my boys get in a big fight last year and it was so bad I thought I was going to loose the loser of the fight.
Leave it to these little bantams to think they're bigger then they are.![]()
That's good. These little birds nearly fight to the death.Only reason mine stop is because the Large Fowl they are kept with break it up. Now they rarely fight at all.
Yes, that's true. It's all up to you the owner though. The 2 reason I dubbed was because of the cold, and show. Aside from that, I wouldn't dub. I like their look with the comb.Im very hesitant to do the dubing here due to heat issues in the summer. All my pea comb guys an gales have issues with it. The more surface area they have to disapate heat the better here.
