All my crazy projet ideas!

Lots of breeding set backs, y'all.

Lost my really nice White rooster today, a pair of pintos, and a bunch of chicks.
1 BB golden, 3 SDW, 4 Black, 6+ Whites.

Been a terrible year so far... :/

Though, with all that said, I am excited for what I do have. Granted I don't have many.

I recently got a new job, so I'll be getting, and shipping in new bantams soon. So, bear with me, and continue to follow!
Sorry for the bad year. I'm having one my self. Two pens are out of commission until I redo the wiring as I had coon break ins and lost chickens.

That set me back 4 to 6 chickens and my project with the Spitzhauben x Ameraucana is on hold because that pen now has the chickens from another pen in it. Just a bad year all around.

Yeah I feel you!! This has been a terrible year regards to losing chickens.

Same. I recently lost my really nice BB red roo...
My OEGB died as well. I'm doing d'Uccles for breeding.
Oh goodness, I'm so sorry for all your losses. 😭 :hugs

So, yams, generally how long does it take for combs to heal after dubbing? I have a promising MGB cockerel coming along I would like dubbed by our state association show. Also, do you travel for shows?
Thanks!
All my birds healed up almost fully in 2 weeks, but I would advise to dub 3-4 weeks before a show.
I don't travel for shows. My birds aren't really worth traveling for right now. But that's going to change. I'm planing on bringing in a lot of new blood this fall.

I also forgot to mention, I have got for free 3, supposedly really quality MGB hens from a friend of mine a few weeks ago.
