I lost both my SDW breeder hens in the summer, not sure how, but they died.
On the bright side, I got what looks to be so far, a really nice pullet, and at least one really nice cockerel out of them.
I’m really hoping they turn out good because the chicks are now my bloodline. So now I can work on improving them to show standards, which, I think will fairly easy considering the lines i now have to work with.

I’m going to get pure line pairs of this pair first, then Im going to bed them back to my line using the same birds.

I’ll get pictures of the young pair of my line birds when I can.
But the pair above should make some awesome chicks!!
I’m excited.

I also got a BB red, like I mentioned, for my lonely BB red Tracy hill male. My Tracy makes aren’t looking so sharp after molt. They look okay, but not great. So I’m going to work those two bloodlines together to see if I can get anything decent.

So far, I’ll have 3 pairs of SDW, 3 Pairs of BB reds, 2 pairs of whites, one pair of Pintos (Sold one male and gave one hen to my buddy to breed), one trio of BB golden, and an okay quad of blues and blacks. And of the top of my head, I believe that’s all.
I am going to work on making blue silver, and blue golden duckwing with my blue red hen, and another blue red Im getting from my buddy.

@Tookie is going take over my Cross color project so I can focus on my pure colors.
