All my hens are Broody!

I thought it was bad when I had just one of my BOs go broody. I can't imagine how crazy they must be when everyone is broody. I guess the egg on the floor is a good indication that they are back to normal!

I have taken broody's out of the flock and put them in a dog kennel with no bedding which is how i broke 3 of the broodies but the remaining 4 are dead set on hatching , that cage didn't work for them, I even used my spare bathroom shower stall, set the hen on the floor of the shower with nothing but cold tiles for 2 days (with food and water of course) they acted like they snapped out of it but when put back in the flock they went at it again. Needless to say i gave in to 3 out of the 4 hens and put eggs under them.

I guess I got lucky. My broody snapped out of it after just 2 days in a cage. She was back to laying in just over a week. If you can't break them, it makes perfect sense to put that energy to use.
