Hip Hillbilly Acres
Crowing
Cackle said they don't use USPS tracking because they are often wrong but that the chicks would arrive "within 72 hours". So, all day today at work there I was on pins and needles. No call though. I stopped by PO on way home and nada. Cookie, the clerk said they would arrive in the morning after I asked what happens if they come after postal hours. Our po closes at noon on Saturdays. I am no so confident, but this is a country town and I am sure chickens in the mail is not new to them and she confirmed that to be so. At least I had time just now to set up the brooder. I will turn the plate on before I go to bed as I understand I want to make sure all is working BEFORE the chicks arrive.
