I'm so sorry for your loss.

I had a neighbor who's little dog would venture into my yard and chase the hens, he almost killed my favorite hen once. Dogs can get pretty annoying, especially if you have chickens.

Two of my young silkies from this summer went missing this evening. They wandered off and my grandpa shut my birds in without knowing they were missing. They were smart and went in and were sleeping with my pygmy and fainter goats. I looked everywhere and was close to tears and when I found them I cried.... tears of joy! My silkies names are Estes (buff),Echo (Partridge), Kennedy (Splash) Kora(splash or white?-few spots) and Piper (black).... BOTH of the pictures below are of my Buff Silkie Bantam Hen "Estes". I raised her, she was only 36 hours old when I got her. Oh how she has matured!
