Hi everyone, I'm in Schertz, between San Antonio and New Braunfels.
I did attended the poultry show in New Braunfels last weekend, it's much bigger than the last year, over 300 birds there, lots of pure breed and game birds. An eye opening for sure. I was most supprised to find 9 or 10 marans there, two were my.

None got the championship but I chcked with judge for marking on my card shows "BB" for expenation, he say: Best of Breed. I almost fall over....who cares about winning since the breed haven't been established, those BC hens will got all the treats they want from now on.

OK, getting back with the trade/swap on birds:
I have 6 white Ameraucana (from Txfresh in Port La Veca) chicks, 2/3 weeks old for $2.50 each, lays blue eggs.
Also have some black copper, blue copper chicks for sell or trade.
I'm looking for brabanter or buff orphington and guinea hens.

My black copper marans are from Beth "Fitzfarmandpoultry.net"
Great egg color, hatching rate was good too. I highly recommend her BC hatching eggs if anyone looking for great marans.
My blue is Davis line (I don't deserve any credit yet), hen win 5th last year. Very nice birds, lay huge nice dark brown eggs too.

my friends hatched some turkey babies. they have:

black spanish poults and royal palm poults between the ages of week to 3 weeks. they're selling them for $9 a poult.
