That's been going around our neighborhood this week, too. The dogs get a whiff of one molecule and they go nuts. I open the patio door to let them out and ewww! Then I know exactly what their problem is!

We used to have a dog that got sprayed in the face by a skunk once and after that, he hated skunks with a passion. Any time he smelled skunk, he went nuts. I think living with him for a few years before he passed, rubbed off on these two!
