Since they need a warm enviromant, could they just be kept in the coop, in a SAFE conatiner of course?
I think I might try it...the laundry room is an inferno in summer lol

I've got to give you all credit. I can't stand mealworms. They just gross me out!!! I couldn't stand the thought of them in my house!

When we moved the coop we're using there were thousands of mealworms under the wood frame and old bedding....I think the ppl who used the coop just threw them in there, probably under the bedding during the summer, and let them grow....don't know if that works, but that's what it looked like to me
